Should I test again?

I'm 6 months postpartum and am still breastfeeding my first. My period tracker said I was supposed to be ovulating around three days before I saw eggwhite discharge this last cycle and I know for sure we had unprotected $3x during that time. I just had four ish days of spotting that started three days after my period was supposed to start and I was panicking because of how overly emotional I've been and how weird the letter period was, so I took a test that came back negative maybe two days ago but maybe it was too early, should I test again? I'm not convinced by the negative result
