anyone else just not like Christmas anymore bc of how consumerist it is?

I feel so negative bc i honestly hate most holidays, they are all about buying things, it’s almost impossible to celebrate holidays like halloween and christmas without spending money and buying things each year, things i do not need and will only use once. when i was little i used to love all these holidays so it makes me sad i can’t enjoy them anymore but as a child i wasn’t the one paying for it all. these holidays produce so much waste and if you take away consumerism, could these holidays even still exist?
