Veteran Advisers
I wanted to make a post and ask a question. I was active duty army, and got out due to medical reasons with knee surgeries. I was discharged with 90% and filled to get an increase. And was denied on 3 claims I did by myself. Not knowing who to reach out to for help. After my third denial I got information from a friend who'd recently received 100% using a company called veteran advisors. I called and they helped me get to 100% withing 2 months. The claim went through quickly and caused me not to get any back pay. Which plan was to pay them with that.
I have a 10month old son and plan on getting surgery on my knee again. And they expect me to pay them 8900$ in the next 2 weeks! I dont have that i looked into some things not necessarily trying to get out of paying them but was hoping they would give me a grace period due to my situation. And was given nothing.
I looked into it apparently they arent allowed to charge for filing claims and arent VA Acredited from what I gathered. Is their anyway to get out of this charge. Or am I freaked... seeking advice/help please im a single income house hold and already struggle to make ends meet with a 10 month old son.
