I feel my bladder sliding out when I strain
I know it’s a POP. My GP confirmed it but she couldn’t do a speculum bc it wouldn’t even fit due to the prolapse. I’m worried because I only had a rectocele in November, and only within a few weeks I’ve developed a cystocele too. Every week it gets worse.
For context, F25 214 lbs, pcos. I take metformin. I’ve had chronic constipation that developed overnight over a year ago, and no one’s figured out the cause. I’ve been given osmotic laxatives over and over. I really think I need a prokinetic, bc no matter how much water goes into my stool, if it’s can’t move then it’s gonna be stuck. Doesn’t really matter how soft it is.
Anyway, I’m going to get a referral for the gyne BY MAIL around late December/early January, so who knows WHEN I’ll be able to see a gyne. This is in Ireland, through the public route. I could go private but it’s too expensive.
I’ll be going back home to the US for 10 days over Christmas break. Is it worth it to try and see a gyne even if I won’t be staying there? I’m just so worried at how fast this is progressing. I’m pretty certain at this point it requires surgery.
