I can't seem to be different

I’ve noticed a recent trend in the world today where many individuals tend to have similar styles (clothes/shoe/hair) and looks. I am not saying this is a bad thing but lately it feels like I have been fading into the background; If everyone is wearing what I am then it does not make me feel special or unique. I want something that belongs to me and only me, it doesn’t have to be anything large or extravagant, just a personal touch, something that shows that I am expressing who I am and not merely doing what is on display for all to see. I would love to hear from anyone and everyone because I feel there are many different ways that people express their individuality and therefore how they create their identity. What have you done to your appearance that helped you feel more comfortable with it? (hairstyle, clothing, accessories, tattoos, skincare, scent, etc.) Do you have a personal "signature item" that people associate with you? ex. a particular color, hairstyle, or unique jewelry. If fashion and body modifications are not your thing, how do you express your individuality through physical or visual expressions of yourself. What small, unusual items, and/or activities help you to feel less 'blending in' with others but showing who you are instead? What helped you to identify what you enjoy and what reflects your personality rather than simply following a fashion trend? I don’t want to become someone else, rather, I want to evolve into an intentional, personalized version of myself that I can be proud of. I want to learn how others have found their individual “things,” whether they’re, invetnted, energetic, or understated. Any insights, examples, or crazy concepts that you’ve employed would be appreciated! Thank you!
