THIS Was the ONLY thing that got me over my breakup

I don’t usually post on Reddit. I’ve always been more of a secret lurker, reading other people’s stories in silence. But this tool named "Refeel" have helped me through the darkest nights of my own breakup that I felt I owed it to share my story, in case it helps someone else. When my relationship ended, it felt like my whole world collapsed overnight. I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep, and every morning I woke up with that sick, heavy feeling in my stomach when reality hit. I’d reach for my phone half expecting their name to be there, only to remember they were gone.

The worst part was watching them move on as if I had never mattered. I kept checking their social media, comparing myself to everyone around them, and slowly destroying my own self-esteem. I would stare at myself in the mirror, noticing every flaw and blaming myself for everything that went wrong. The jealousy and self-criticism consumed me completely.

One night, I ended up on the floor, crying so hard I could barely breathe. My chest hurt, and it genuinely felt like I wouldn’t recover, like life couldn’t function without them. My heart felt shattered in a way that seemed impossible to repair.

That’s when I stumbled across the Refeel app, completely by accident. I never imagined something like that could help, but I downloaded it anyway, and that was the beginning of a real shift.

Refeel helped me understand that getting over a breakup isn’t only about time passing. It’s about the narrative running in your head. My mind kept replaying the idea that my ex was unique, irreplaceable, and the one person I would never find again. That story was trapping me in my pain.

So I started to rewrite it. Guided by the exercises in Refeel, I wrote down the moments when they hurt me even while we were still together. I reminded myself of all the times I felt small, unappreciated, or unheard in that relationship. I stopped viewing myself as the problem and began focusing on what the experience taught me about my worth.

Little by little, it worked. They stopped feeling like an untouchable figure in my mind. I stopped placing them above me. I no longer saw myself as broken but as someone who now has the power to choose better in the future.

If you’re stuck in heartbreak and everything feels overwhelming, I’ve been in that same place. I’ve felt the physical pain, the confusion, the hopelessness. But it didn’t last forever, and it won’t for you either.

The moment you shift the story you hold inside, everything begins to change. And for me, Refeel was what finally helped me break out of that vicious cycle.
