Question for the Vintage Resellers

I saw a pair of boots at a vintage market over the weekend. They were unique and beautiful, but not my size. Just now, I see a store in my area re selling the boots at a higher cost. I am wondering if this is frowned upon in the vintage re selling community? What is the basic etiquette or is it basically a free for all
