CircuitGlow palm rest skin - could it damage my MacBook display?

Hey everyone,

I just applied the dbrand CircuitGlow skin to my MacBook Air M4 (13.6"), including the palm rest. It looks amazing, but I’m a bit concerned about one thing and would love to hear from people with experience.

I’ve seen a few old posts where people mentioned getting marks or even damage on their displays when using keyboard covers or thicker protective layers around the keyboard. I know the dbrand skin is just a thin 3M sticker and shouldn’t cause issues, but I’m still a little worried about potential marks on the screen when the laptop is closed.

Has anyone used this skin on an Air or any Mac, especially the palm rest part? Can you confirm if it’s safe long-term?
