[QUESTION] So I'm looking for advice on my boyfriend's Christmas gift?

so big of context my boyfriend is really passionate about music and wants to learn guitar really, REALLY bad (he played percussion in middle school so some music knowledge). His family is getting him a guitar but I wanted to make him a book of his favorite songs and then, like, bind it by hand and stuff. The problem is I have no knowledge on guitars so I'm wondering what a good website to get pdfs I could print off should be (preferably cheap) and If the music should be in TAB or standard formatting (idk if that matters). If anyone has any ideas or advice, it would be greatly appreciated!!
