WOW 3.0 gimmick - Face-Up or Face-Down?

I want to buy the WOW 3.0 gimmick, but I'm unsure whether to get the Face-Up or Face-Down gimmick.
Do you have any recommendations or advice that would help me decide? What are the advantages or disadvantages?
