Adding storage heater bricks to a woodburner

I’ve got a very well insulated Luton van with a woodburner. I have a load of the ceramic tiles from inside old storage heaters and I’m wondering about welding holders to the side of my Glastonbury burners plate steel stove to hold the tiles. I’ve tried having them on top and around the stove and it works well to regulate and spread the heat. Interested in people’s thoughts on this and any obvious problems?
