Moccamaster Quality Control Issues

Bought a new Moccamaster and had hight expectations but it turned ot to be a disappointment regarding quality control.

Straight out of the package -one foot is in the air not touching the surface. checked on various surfaces including glass.

Decided to give it a test run - first rinsing as the company reccomends- yellow water is coming out! aven at the 4th rinse. contacted the company they say it is a dye they use for testing (leaks I assume) and suppose to be safe. keep rinsing they said.. the white silicone ring which holds the nozzzle turned yellow.

The cherry on top was the ECBC sticker placed at 45 degrees.

At this price point I expect them to rinse it themselves pretty well and state it in the manual that a residue is possible. QC is a must even when one amployee at the assembly line not giving a F..

Anyway I packed the Moccamaster and sent it back.
