ChatGPT says I don't need a Roth IRA

Budgeting

TLDR: Is Roth wise when planning to retire abroad?

I (30F, USA) have just been hired in a new field which pays more than my previous role. After considering my new budget, here is the savings plan:

HSA: max -> can be used on medical expenses abroad, win

401(k): max + employer contribution (pretax lowers my student loan payment)

Roth IRA: ??? skip because the plan is to retire abroad

Invest: monthly to pay student loan tax bomb when/if that day comes (currently on PAYE plan)

HYSA: holds 6 month emergency fund plus any leftover income

My partner is not familiar with finances in the US, so we have been asking ChatGPT for advice and have already caught it messing up. If my goal is early retirement thanks to maintaining a DINK relationship, is this a solid plan? I focused on traveling in my 20s, so now I am trying to catchup.
