How to deal with a mass exodus at your company?

I’m curious as to how y’all have dealt with a massive number of employees leaving your office in a relatively short time period?

I work in a medium sized office (about 700 total employees, but about 50 in my office). We were probably at about 70 employees at our peak a couple years ago, but have been getting smaller ever since. I’m also learning that 2 of the younger people in my 8-person team will be leaving at the start of the new year.

Everything feels really depressing. I know that turnover is expected & happens everywhere, but it just feels really noticeable in our office because we have not rehired people to replace the ones we’ve lost.

Do y’all have any tips on how to navigate this sort of thing? Did you find that it was worth it to stick it out, or do you wish you would have jumped ship when everyone else was?
