Question about quiet time
My 2.5 year old has been fighting naps lately and i'm wondering how quiet time works lol. I've just been letting him play around and do whatever when he doesnt nap. Usually for his naps (when he actually takes one) he nurses and then falls asleep, or sometimes I'll push him around in the stroller to help get him to sleep. It's pretty rare that he falls asleep on his own but I want to work on helping him with that.
So for quiet time do you keep them in their room for the full amount of time that they'd usually nap? Also, he still sleeps in our room and no toddler bed so do I just keep him in the crib with the lights off hoping he'll eventually fall asleep? Should I leave lights on so he can play with toys during that time? What's the max time I should leave him in there for quiet time?
Please help lol I'm a sahm and I need my me time to recharge 😅
