FA Bases

I just received my CTO and was curious about potential bases. I live closest to AUS which is a satellite base- it was mentioned that it is for senior FA only so I was hoping I’d be able to try for IAH but was told there will be no more people placed there. I have some family near other bases so I’m thinking those hub should be at the top of my list if I’m asked if I have a preference. Obviously I know that UA has the final say and I’d ideally move to my assigned base if I weren’t locked into my current lease until the summer. Once my lease is up, I will move 100%, but I guess I’m just asking for commuting tips, base recommendations, or any other info that would be helpful. Thank y’all!!
