math 1aa3 for afm

see now, i am a math and stats student so i'm taking the math n stats calc 1 but like i was looking at the requirements for afm and bruh i cld lowk just take the "easier" calcs like 1ls3/1lt3 or 1a03/1aa3. im in 1x03 rn but im debating whether taking the 1xx3 is even necessary next term. 1lt3 doesnt fit in my schedule but 1aa3 does. + it gives me a day off which i love bc im commuting like 3-4 hours total everyday.

i just wanna know, if i switch into another calc that isnt necessarily designed for math students will it really affect me? cs from what i understand on the academic calendar for the afm program, we dont have to take calc again. so why am i trying to make myself suffer with proofs heavy content, right?

i dont even wanna go into a math spec, im fine with math n stats w/ a stats spec. like why am i doing this to myself ... </3

i already told my friends i wanted to switch out but they dont think i shld. but like i just wanna goof around man 🥀🥀 any thoughts/advice?
