I will forever hate the Minecraft movie!….

not because the movie itself is bad, I haven’t watched it to make those judgments, but because of the reaction it got. being a former movie theater looking back and hearing and seeing the videos of people causing chaos in the theaters, yelling and jumping around, even sneaking in fireworks and a live chicken, all of that over Jack Black saying Chicken Jockey, fills me with rage and hatred. I have zero respect for anyone who unironically took part of that and wised that they got banned from their local theaters as opposed to getting a slap on the wrist or even awarded by having an exclusive showings where their ‘allowed‘ to do all that. Im all for having fun but I can certainly tell you the employees didn’t have a good time cleaning the big mess you purposely made because of a stupid line,I know I would’ve. now whenever i hear someone say that movie theaters are ‘expensive’ I’m likely to roll my eyes now and think “well, that probably didn’t stop you and everyone else from seeing Minecraft and making a ruckus in in your local theater.”
