Two powers in heaven theology

Has anyone here looked into the theology of the "two powers of heaven"? When I found this teaching by Dr. Michael S. Heiser I was stunned, since there is so much dissention about the "real name of God", and also denial that Jesus Christ is the son of God and is God (John 1:1).
