Kyleena Side Effects

I first started taking the combo pill halfway through October, and then had my Kyleena inserted at the end of October. I had about a week of spotting on the pill, and when I swapped to Kyleena, I spotted a few days but for not as long. I haven’t had a period since I started the pill halfway through October.

I’ve started having period like cramps in the evening almost every day that started around 2-3 weeks ago. When I had my check up for the strings a couple days ago, I was told that it’s normal and that my body is adjusting to it. There’s also a pain in my lower left abdomen.

My other side effects are tender breasts, and I feel like I’ve had an increased appetite. I’ve read that IUDs can cause weight gain. Is the increased appetite because of this? And did I just not have a period because I’ve went through two different birth controls in less than a month?
