Is There Really a Way to Make the Steam Warzone Update Only 20GB Instead of 120GB?

Steam tried to force a 120GB update on me for the new Warzone season, which basically looks like a full reinstall. I saw some people saying there’s a method to make the update only 20–25GB instead of downloading the full 120GB.

Does anyone know if this is actually true?
And if yes, how do you do it?

I’m on the Steam PC version, and I really don’t want to redownload the whole game if there’s a way around it.
