Here's one I've never heard before - return a Hertz rental at an Enterprise location. On purpose?

So, I'm overhearing at work that a consultant who traveled to our office this week is looking to return his Hertz rental to our local Enterprise location. Huh? Not sure that he thinks he can do this or our accountant / controller (who doesn't seem to get out much) suggested it.

Maybe it's possible, particularly in that we're a small town of 12,500 people and Enterprise is the only car rental place around, but to me it seems quite odd.
