Hey, so I know we don’t really have a standardization on how we discuss things however I would like to make a recommendation. When making feedback follow these three rules:

1. Try to explain what your position is about something.
2. Give what about the thing you’re giving feedback about makes you feel that way.
3. Try to recommendations on ways to change it.

Swearing is fine as long as it doesn’t lead to unintended meanings or isn’t being used to be ugly.

If you’re engaging with feedback, here’s some recommendations on how to engage with it:

1. Keep an open mind.
2. Read the entire post.
3. Be an apologist for both sides, whether you personally disagree with the feedback or not, in your head.

Anyone giving feedback is just as human, they may not always phrase things in ways that someone like you would, but that doesn’t invalidate that they’re trying to give honest feedback without being unfair or insulting.
