Can someone recommend a series with smart villains?

I'm looking for series within either the litrpg or progression fantasy genre that have at least one genuinely smart villain that survives/thrives like a roach. The closest example I can give is Ra’azel from the Infinite Realm series. Them having contingencies upon contingencies is definitely a trait I'm seeking.
