"Clear Lanes" ticket on Veterans Day?!

I got a ticket for parking in a Pennsylvania Ave SE bus lane on Veterans Day -- one of those tickets assessed by a camera attached to a bus. Seems pretty lame to get a what's essentially a parking ticket on a day when DC doesn't assess parking tickets. The Clear Lanes site doesn't say whether or not they ticket on holidays, but I assure you, gentle reader, that the owners of an entire block of parked cars understandably assumed they do not. (I mean, I get it that DC might consider these the same as the tickets a normal traffic camera -- for speeding at the like -- and they don't take holidays off, but come on!)

Anyone have any luck contesting a ticket in such a situation?
