My Tactsuit X16 become unusable since firmware update.

So my X16 was working perfectly, I saw there was a firmware update out so updated it, it appeared to be fine. I didn't use it for a few weeks then put it on charge and when I went to use it that night it appeared to connect to my PC, showed in the app but then disconnected, blue light went off and some of the haptics just started and wouldn't stop, it wouldn't turn off/stop by pressing the power button. The only way I could get it to stop was by connecting it to the USB. I then get a sold blue light and it shows in the app as connected but when I try and click on anything it says its disconnected. If I unplug it and click on a feedback test the blue light goes out, the one haptic I clicked on just stays on and the only way to get it to stop is to plug it in again.
If I can get it to connect to the iphone app it shows the battery charging/discharging really quickly. Has the firmware update killed it? Anyway I can get it working again? Anywhere repairs them? I'm in the UK. Gutted as VR isn't the same without it.
