Asus ROG cetra issues

Hi. I bought this pair of headphones (Asus ROG Cetra True Wireless Speednova) and I am having some issues which are making me go crazy because I really like the product.

It doesn’t matter what I do, if the sound goes silent for about 10 seconds, they go into idle. Sure, when they get sound it comes back, but there’s a 1 second delay which is very annoying.

The only solution I found was to go to settings and choose to listen to their microphone and set it to the lowest volume so it’s basically an idle sound going in the background. (The downside to this is you keep hearing a static noise).

I was wondering if anyone has another solution as I can’t return them due to hygiene regulations!
