Book Projects Copyrighted

Hello everyone!

I borrowed a vintage book from the library of patchwork Christmas crafts (ornaments mostly). In another book that I borrowed, the front cover mentions copyright that will not allow people to use the patterns for sales. In this Christmas craft book, it just has the copyright most books have, but it doesn't say anything specific about not selling the items. Are you allowed to sell these items if you use the patterns?
