Am I waiting for tissue to scar?

I'm about 7 weeks post 2-bar Nuss. I still have quite a bit of pain especially on my side where the stabilisers are.

Can somebody explain, what is it I'm waiting for to heal? Does the tissue surrounding the stabilisers and bars inside need to 'scar' for that pain to subside?

I had cryo. 41f, HI approx 5.5.
