who else family is in the house selling industry?

ik this is random, but i feel like after age 45, if you failed in life, or the success train left you behind you turn to real estate. both my paretns have and it has actually branched out to other family members. on top of all of that, my step dad is a lender :/ i feel like there are so many real estate agents that their has to be a community of their kids. how do you feel about their occupation, do you know all the jargon? cus i do.
