Mk8 H/K ACM Technik Spund Improvement - worth it?

I’m pretty content with the Harman Kardon sound system in my 2023 Golf R.

I’ve replaced the factory center speaker with the Audison unit from RS Acoustics. This made a shockingly big difference. Detail, soundstage, clarity were all improved, and the mid/high harshness went away.

I’ve taken out the factory sub, and installed a sealed 10W6v3 subwoofer. Compact size, but tight bass that blends well with the ready of the system.

There’s still a distinctive lack of mid-bass from the doors. While I know I could replace the door speakers, and amplify them, that’s probably further than I’m willing to go.

But…

The ACM Technik software for the sound system is on sale right now….

Now I’m not expecting a night/day difference, but for those who have done it, what can you tell me?
