Would a Router Make that much of a difference?

So, I do be someone stuck in my world with T-Mobile home internet as my main source. Only reason is I got no fiber near me, I live in the middle of the woods, and any other internet choices he satellite, which either sucks or connected to someone who is expensive as heck and evil. (Mr. Musk btw)

But point stands, it stays on 4g LTE as I don’t think getting 5g in my area is much possible, so it is what it is. I wonder of, instead of having my pics wifi card connecting to it, I should go get a router for my pc and plug into it, maybe having antennas around my wall so it is aimed at my box. (It is in a window of my kitchen, then fridge, to wall, to my room where my pc is)
