CRF 450RL for big boy

I’m a big guy. I weigh 285lbs. I have my gen 3 KLR that is my camping and fishing rig. I took it into Death Valley and I realized it was a heavy bike for real off road riding.

While my KLR is my fantastic pack mule for getting to and camping places, I want something that is lighter for just fun riding some trails, and going out into the desert and such.

I know the 450rl will need more maintenance, which is not an issue. I know it will need suspension work done for my weight.

Is there any issue that would make this a bad bike for me?
