Meta Interview Update

Hi everyone,

I just finished my technical screen with Meta. After not hearing back for a week, I reached out to my recruiter. They didn’t mention whether I passed or failed, instead they told me the positions for my preferred location are now filled, and asked if I’m open to other locations or to being considered for early-2026 openings.

If I switch locations, do I have to restart the whole interview process?

How long does this kind of relocation shift usually take?

If nothing opens up soon, does my application get tossed and put into a cool-down period?
