The ppl bashing bts for not speaking out are weird..

Idk why but the people attacking bts and all that are low-key kinda weird to me… like I read a post abt bts being performative and what not and I noticed a common pattern with posts like that, they always say “they're not good people!” But in the same breathing say “you guys dont know them!”… I just find it weird and kinda hypocritical no? Like, you say they're bad people but when an army defends bts they're quick to say “you dont know them!”, and neither do you? Why use this logic on just people that support bts? Why not apply it to yourself as well? They say bts is performative because they're not speaking out… (but hear me out on this) how can they know that the idols or celebrities that do speak out aren't being performative as well? (I know it sounds crazy but listen!) Like, they could be speaking out not because they personally agree, but because they dont want any backlash or lose supporters and fans if they don't? Also, I dont like how we're just attacking bts for this and before anyone comments “they're a big and influential kpop group!” So is every other kpop group and idol…now that we established that, back to what I was gonna say… kpop idols and celebrities using or not using “boycotted” (heavy quotation marks bc they're not rlly boycotted if there are still ppl that buy them -which there are) items doesn't change shit going in Palestine or ANYWHERE… not buying McDonald's isn't going to stop the people from being murdered. Its not. Just like how buying McDonald's isn't going to make the war worse. It doesn't help. How I know this? Because, literally every time me and my mom and sister ride by McDonald's that line STAY wrapped. This ‘boycott’ isn't working bc A: its not directly saving or protecting the people being harmed, B: there are still people buying these items. Like srsly boycotting a FOOD and DRINK chain wont do shit💀

CONTROVERSIAL TAKE HERE: Palestine isn't the only one suffering. As harsh as that sounds but its true, they're not.

AMERICA: Immigrants who are here illegally are being detained by ICE and deported back home which separates children from their parents and families. We have a president trying to be a dictator. Laws have been passed that are AGAINST Trans people. In some states, women are not able to get an abortion.

ITALY: there's femicide going on that the government just now took action on

AFRICA: femicide, rape and probably much more that us outsiders probably dont even know about yet

UKRAINE: yes, there is STILL a war going on in Ukraine, its slowing down -sure- but it hasn't fully stopped yet THESE are issues too are they not? Yall are attacking bts solely for just Palestine and not speaking up about it why not attack and unstan them for the whole nine yards then?

To close this off, I support ALL 💜🏳️‍⚧️🇮🇹🇺🇦🇵🇸🇺🇸🇰🇪🇬🇳🇨🇫🇿🇦🏳️‍⚧️. But what i will NOT do, is force someone to support something just because I want them to… focus on the ones that do speak out. Stop pushing your political views, and beliefs onto your fav celebrities. Just stop. And yall stop making posts about bts being performative, bad ppl, etc. Its tiring atp… if you're going to unstan bts bc of what they did DO THAT AND MOVE THE FUCK ON… yall unstan them, but still make posts about them… make it make sense. FOCUS ON THE ONES THAT DO SPEAK UP INSTEAD OF WASTING YOUR TIME DEDICATING POSTS TO GROUPS THAT DON'T.

I rest my case. (Links about Ukraine if you wanna read them all)
