Combat rogue

I generally like playing melee characters and I find the rogue to be a little underwhelming. I just came up with a build of one level rogue and then five gloom stalker ranger. Curious if you had any builds that you like that use Multi-classes, with rogue. Just trying to explore ideas Thanks!
