Winter boots suggestions - Daily public transit and 1hr walks ?

Hey gamers,

The slush this morning pushed my NB 608's out of working this year and I'm looking for something with a bit more grip and a lot more warmth.

What's a budget-friendly (~$250-ish if they last years?) waterproof winter boots that are comfortable to walk in for a larger guy? My NB608s are 10.5 in size and 2E wide.
