Night and Nap Training

4 - 6 months

How do you know that the night training “worked”? Is it when they barely cry or don’t cry at all? Or is it when they don’t wake for a feed or two and sleep through the night? We’ve been sleep training at night for almost two weeks now and it’s going fine; she is put down awake, cries/fusses for 5-20 minutes, wakes once or twice a night to feed (instead of 4-5x) and goes right back down to sleep to then wake between 6:30-7:30am. She’s 4 months old. Is that considered successful? I’d like to move on to nap training, since she will only contact nap, but don’t want to do that until nights are good. Is this correct in thinking? I’d love some guidance on this, thanks so much.
