Looks like University of Pennsylvania is ready to evict World Cafe Live, which after losing their liquor license and they way they've been handling their unionized workers, makes sense. It's sad...WCL has been an important independent music venue for over 2 decades. Hoping the situation can still be turned around. Of note is the World Cafe Live Workers Benefit show linked to in the article. Hoping they can raise a lot of funds for the workers who were fired over striking, and the ones who are currently losing $ and haven't been paid.
