Help me explain to a sub friend: FWB vs kink dynamics, also the importance of aftercare and letting a dom know about subdrop

Repost because meant to post with this account earlier. Thank you to the people that responded on the original post ๐Ÿ’•. I've also added a couple other quotes and details to this.

tldr; subby friend is trying their first kink dynamic and is avoiding aftercare especially for dropping because they think kink dynamics are like fwbs where you fuck and leave and that's it in their words. They dropped pretty fucking hard with their first dom, some miscommunication, their worries didn't get addressed, but they and their dom agreed to a session with no clarifications as to how they will try to avoid the drop again and how to communicate better.

"NO LIKE if you think in regular fwb settings drops don't really exist and it's just a fuck and continue existing until you fuck again next time" - friend

Doms: How would you feel about a sub that is scared about asking for aftercare and letting you know they dropped?

Subs: Anything you want to suggest to a new sub?

Doms and Subs: How do you feel about a dom that looks for a kink dynamic but doesn't know about subdrop and doesn't address it once it comes up?

Me and our other friends are trying to convince them to get aftercare sorted out and though they aren't sure what made them drop, make sure that they and their dom will communicate if anything pops up. They've also minimized the impacts of this relationship due to it being entirely online.

I was given permission to post about this to try to help her realize that this relationship with this dom doesn't sound good and she needs to better vet doms. Not only that, but even my friend feels like this dom is a red flag and is validated that we're concerned.

Also, please help me convince them that coaxing is coercion and not consent. They compared the experiences of being scared to getting a vaccine or getting teeth pulled out. I told them it should be like a rollercoaster type of scared, and even if you're nervous about trying the experience, you should still wait until you're ready rather than get coaxed into it.

"Like TECHNICALLY I chose to do them in the end" "No but like I couldn't find it in myself to say no" "HEHSKFJSK but it's not the "I'm too scared to say no", no. It's more of a "I keep making excuses because I'm nervous/shy(?)" no" - friend

I will share the responses to my friend. I just want them to be able to play safely and enjoy themself.
