Ash Ketchum and honest scaling
Where do you all scale him? Be honest and please explain as to why you think the way you do.
There's a lot of this "he scales to Deoxys who is mftl" thrown around but not enough is really elaborated on and things are left too vague. There's also mentions of lore and cross-media that doesn't apply to the anime in the first place. Remember that death battle is primarily focusing on the anime here so I'd like to see explanations based around Ash's own source material. Some other media that includes Ash such as episode and movie novelizations or manga adaptations should be fine however.
Could you please elaborate on why he scales to this or that and why the thing he scales to, has those stats?
For example: Pokemon A zipped to another planet in seconds, therefore they are FTL. Pokemon B beat Pokemon A in a fight and outsped it, meaning it scales to that speed.
