I’ve been working on a small tool over the last year because I constantly found myself wasting time managing and recreating the same PowerPoint slides just different. I build a lot of decks for work, and the process always felt more chaotic than it should be: copy/pasting old slides, tweaking layouts, fixing formatting over and over… you know the pain.

So I ended up building something for myself, and it slowly turned into a proper little project: Fast Slides.

The idea is pretty simple: I wanted a faster way to create a presentation, create the initial slides, and keep everything editable in PowerPoint without weird locked elements or autogenerated junk. Basically a workflow that saves time but still gives full control in the end.

It’s still evolving, so I’d really appreciate some honest feedback:

* Does the general workflow make sense?
* Is there even a place for something like this in the age of AI?
* Anything confusing or missing?
* If you regularly build presentations, would this help you — or not really?

I’m not trying to sell anything here; I mainly want to understand if the idea is useful beyond my own use case.
Thanks to anyone who takes a look, and I’m happy to answer any questions!

PS: Yes there is also an option to make the slide selection full screen in PowerPoint, you\`re not stuck to the little screen on the right.
