Looking for advice on a used 2008 Tacoma

So I am looking for a car for my teenage son and he has eyes on a 2008 Tacoma. We took a test drive at the small used car dealership and it seemed to drive okay. Carfax seems okay but it had been in an accident, no structural issues. I got a pre-purchase inspection done. It came up with a crack in the manifold, alignment issue and a shack over 60 mph which they think might be a driveshaft issue. Price is 12k. It makes me a little hesitant as I don’t want to end up in endless maintenance issues. Any thoughts?
