# 784 - Kommail-o Item 20

**\[ Rare | Cursed | Dragon | Entrench | Ranged | Invested | Noisy | Primal | Sonic \]**

**Price** 65,800 gp; **Usage** worn armor; **Bulk** 2; **Base Armor** Scale Mail

This dark gray +3 superior resilient greater dread scale mail armor has gold trim along the lower edge of the bottom scales, and golden and red scales along the neck edge. The red shoulder pads have gold trim along the sides and bottom edge. A large golden scale with a red heart pattern sits in the center of the chest. White fur trim runs along the bottom, as matching scale tassets hang from the bottom of the armor. The armor has been designed to allow for better protection from ranged attacks, giving it the Entrench Ranged trait.

While invested to this armor: you are resistant 15 to thunder damage; and you have a +3 item bonus on Intimidation rolls.

When you first invest in this armor, it fuses to you. While it’s in your possession, its scales loudly clang together, giving it the Noisy trait, and when you roll a Stealth check, roll twice and use the worse result. This is not a misfortune effect, and trumps any fortune effects that would apply. You will also refuse to attack creatures you perceive as being weak, deeming them not worth your time.

**Activate-Bulletproof** \[free-action\] manipulate; **Frequency** once per round; **Trigger** You use the armor’s Entrench trait; **Effect** You make the scales vibrate to better protect you against ranged attacks. You gain a +4 circumstance bonus to AC against ranged attacks instead of +1, lasting until the start of your next turn. However, the scales’ vibration causes them to clang together loudly, which will alert others to your position and prevents you from being Undetected or Hidden.

**Activate-Overcoat** \[two-actions\] manipulate; **Frequency** once per day; **Effect** A magical overcoat surrounds you to protect you from the weather. You have a +3 status bonus on saves against effects with the weather trait, and are resistant 15 to damage from effects with the weather trait. This lasts for 24 hours.

**Activate-Vibrant Vibrato** \[two-actions\] manipulate; **Frequency** once per day; **Effect** The armor casts *vibrant vibrato* at your directive as a 9th-rank primal spell, DC 43, which you can sustain with an Interact action on the armor.

# 785 - Tokokoahuitl Item 21

**\[ Unique | Artifact | Cursed | Electricity | Fey | Primal \]**

**Usage** held in 2 hands; **Bulk** 1; **Base Weapon** Macuahuitl

This black +3 major striking quickstrike greater shock macuahuitl has a yellow top with square black line markings on it. The orange blades glint with electric yellow light, especially the three long blades coming from the top. The orange discus-shaped pommel has four short spines coming down from it.

While holding this weapon, you have a +3 item bonus to Initiative rolls and Reflex saves.

When you use this weapon for the first time, it fuses to you. While it’s in your possession, you develop an explosive temper. If you encounter anything that upsets you, you must succeed a DC 45 Will save or immediately attack whatever is causing you to be upset. When combat has been resolved, you will immediately return to a peaceful disposition, and will have completely forgotten the entire incident.

**Activate-Electric Drain** \[free-action\] manipulate; **Trigger** You do electricity damage to a creature with this weapon; **Frequency** once per hour; **Effect** The electricity drains some of the target’s vitality. You regain hit points equal to half the electricity damage done, rounded down to a minimum of 1.

**Activate-Electric Terrain** \[free-action\] manipulate; **Trigger** You roll Initiative; **Effect** The weapon casts *electric terrain* on you as a 5th-rank primal spell.

**Activate-Telepathy** \[two-actions\] concentrate; **Frequency** once per day; **Effect** The weapon casts *telepathy* on you as a 6th-rank primal spell, with the added benefit of giving a +3 status bonus on reflex saves for effects caused by any creatures you are telepathically connected with.
