Need help finding monitor

I live in the middle of nowhere in canada.I’ve been looking for a good monitor for awhile now but all my local shops don’t have very good specs at all and I don’t wanna pay 300+ for shipping on a monitor I’m not sure about, can anyone tell me who went though a similar situation tell me what kind of monitor they ended up going for.
