Just picked up a Sony a6400, good purchase?

I just purchased a Sony a6400 as an upgrade from my aging Nikon D3200 DSLR. I have interest in filmmaking and photography, and I thought this would be a good balance, I got it with the 16-50 lens for about $700… good purchase/upgrade?
