Dear Embark Studios

Dear Embark Studios,

I want to express my appreciation for Arc Raiders. It is an exceptional game that I deeply enjoy, and I have already invested over 400 hours of gameplay. With that level of dedication, I would like to offer some suggestions that I believe could enhance the overall experience. 1. Trials System Improvements The current requirement to extract in order to secure trial progress can be very punishing. After completing multiple objectives or probe interactions, losing everything to a final ambush is discouraging. Introducing a time-based scoring system, partial point retention, or a capped accumulation mechanic without requiring extraction would help reward progress while still maintaining challenge and balance. 2. Boss Encounter Structure Large PvE events such as Matriarch/Queen encounters could benefit from dedicated arenas or temporary PvP-free zones. Allowing teams a brief window to focus on the boss before PvP becomes active would improve fairness and reduce frustration around third-party interruptions. 3. Skill Tree Balancing The Conditioning branch and certain skill nodes currently feel less impactful compared to Mobility and Survival. A balance pass to ensure each path offers meaningful benefits would create more build diversity and strategic choice. 4. Credit Usage Expansion Credits accumulate quickly for highly active players, with limited ways to spend them. Adding more sinks—such as purchasing materials, weapons, or additional progression items—would keep long-term play more rewarding. 5. Faction-Based Progression (Suggestion) Introducing factions such as Raiders vs. Arc Raiders, each offering reputation for defeating enemies, retrieving items, and engaging in PvP, could add deeper engagement and community-driven objectives. Seasonal faction rewards—like unique skins—would further motivate participation and teamwork.

Thank you for continuing to develop such a fantastic game. I sincerely appreciate your hard work and look forward to future updates and content.
