Finding lessons

I’ve been golfing for a long time, and pretty much completely self taught or my grandpa taught me. I have been playing a lot in recent seasons and have naturally seen some serious improvements (high 90’s-100’s to 80’s). But, I need serious help with my short game, absolutely KILLS my scoring. I’d like to find a coach, just not sure where to start. My home course doesn’t have a teaching professional, so I’d have to go somewhere else, and I’m nervous to end up in some “professional’s” garage sim. I’m in Michigan and there are plenty of Facebook groups where everyone and their sister seems to be a teaching pro, how do I find the best for me. Please don’t brings up Carls Golfland, that place is where the fun of golf goes to die. You are a dollar sign, they don’t care about your game.

In summary, I want lessons, don’t want to accidentally end up with a bum, where do I look?
