Regarding the biggest disagreement among readers of the novel
I think the author intentionally created a conflict regarding Cassie's character, between those who hate her and those who love her.
This is beneficial for the story's popularity, adds depth, and creates anticipation and observation of the character's actions. This is a new and significant addition to the work.
Also, I honestly don't like Cassie, but I don't hate her too much either.
I'm waiting to see how the author will turn her into a legend, a great sacrifice, and all that nonsense.
