Worried about appendicitis

For the last day, I've had pain in my lower right abdomen. It was pretty minor for most of yesterday, but this morning it got worse. All day, my mind has been drifting to appendicitis. This afternoon, I went to the doctor. He did every basic test for signs of appendicitis (rebound, tip toes, raising leg), but none of those caused the pain to increase. My vitals were normal. He didn't rule out appendicitis due to the location of the pain, so the doctor ordered a CT scan but I won't be able to get it until Saturday. I'm so scared that this is appendicitis. I'm autistic and have bad anxiety and I've never had surgery or stayed overnight at a hospital before. I've been panicking over this all day.

Other details:

• The pain fluctuates, mostly a nagging ache, but with enough bending over becomes very painful.
• The pain becomes minor or disappears entirely when I walk.
• My parents think it might be muscle strain as I regularly carry a lot of heavy bags up a flight of stairs (including yesterday).
• I also have GERD and a similar incident six years ago was attributed to that.
